The ongoing Intimate Glitch series lived rent-free in my mind for many, many years. My desire to create art dimmed as I became a new parent and navigated the early years of raising my two magical kids. One day I was home alone and sifted through the pages of some of my favorite vintage magazines and books. I was looking through a book called Artist and Computer from the late 80s about computer graphics and animation and I realized I was the only one holding myself back. I couldn’t have pulled my Canon film scanner fast enough and ended up working well into the early morning.

This series helped me get back in touch with my inner child and just play. I made two commitments to myself: Trust your gut (especially when it comes to your taste) and remain curious (never stop asking ‘what if’).
